"Etching as Language"

Etching as Language is an international project that brings together six German artists and six American artists, according to the common language of printmaking.  The collection will culminate in ten pristine graphics boxes editioned by the Atelier für Radierung Leipzig and previewed at the New York Academy of Art, February 10 - 28, 2016.  Funding for this project is provided by the U.S. Ambassador to Germany, John B. Emerson.

Artists from Germany: Henriette Grahnert, Franziska Holstein, Bastian Muhr, Maria Ondrej, Vlado Ondrej, and Matthias Weischer.

Artists from the U.S.: Katie Armstrong, Marcelo Daldoce, Volker Hüller, John Jacobsmayer, Kylie Lefkowitz, and Charlotte Segall.
